Qualifications

Nurse Educator Coordinate and facilitate the implementation and evaluation of the NJ DHSS Postpartum Mood Disorders initiative. The candidate will develop and provide educational outreach programs/courses for professionals based on annual needs assessment including AWHONN instruction; will also communicate and implement perinatal standards of care. BSN, MSN preferred. A minimum of two years recent perinatal experience e.g. labor and delivery, high risk antenatal, postpartum, or newborn/infant experience. Current Licensure as an RN in New Jersey, an experienced educator/instructor, including preferably AWHONN courses. A valid Driver's License.
Temporary Patient Navigator (FT)
(Middlesex and Somerset County)
Provide culturally competent MCH advocacy and support services for women of childbearing age and pregnant women including: navigation of the health care system, identification of health care resources; appointment scheduling; question preparation for health care provider visits; arranging transportation and child care; and accompanying patients to prenatal/specialist visits.H.S. Diploma, BA Preferred, Bilingual preferred. A valid Driver's License, willingness to work flexible hours, familiarity with the targeted population and georgraphic location of the assigned program. Strong knowledge of New Jersey health and social service system. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to promote programs and services to community, understanding of MCH patient care, proficient in review of medical records and other patient care information and the ability to promote and build teamwork and multidisciplinary care concept.

Ability to promote programs and services to community, understanding of MCH patient care, proficient in review of medical records and other patient care information and the ability to promote and build teamwork and multidisciplinary care concept.
Regional Program Coordinator for Oral Health Program Manages and coordinates educational and consulting services regarding children's oral health to pre-schools, school districts and social service agencies in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset and Union Counties. The coordinator also provides direction for program staff, manages the day-to-day operations of the Oral Health Program and works collaboratively with community agencies/providers of maternal-child health care to promote oral health throught the life span. Bachelors degree in Public Health or related field, Masters preferred or prepared registered dental hygienist, three years experience in community outreach, excellent communications skills, problem solving skills and public speaking abilities. Also have at least one (1) year of experience in supervision of staff and grant programs and at least two (2) years experience coordinating community outreach and prevention activities and/or experience in health promotion in maternal and child health care.
Intern We are seeking an Intern for our Education and Professional Development department to assist with production of training manuals, power point presentations and curriculum research for courses on maternal and child health. BA in health related field in progress, a valid Driver's license, detail oriented, strong Microsoft office skills, strong administrative skills and time management skills.
Full Time Mercer Service Coordinator (SC) This position ensures that children and their families receive the support and service they need, as authorized under the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services Early Intervention Program. The SC assists families in advocating for their child (birth to 3 years) with special needs by meeting in the family home to ensure and coordinate the provision of EI services. The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in social work or other related field, bilingual preferred; a minimum of two years of experience working with children and families, excellent communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, interpersonal and problem solving skills and the abiliy to travel for home based appointments in Mercer County.
